Keith shares about an upcoming VA doctor appointment, and a podcast recommendation, Blind Abilities. Terry welcomes new listeners. A birthday sneeze scares Jill’s granddaughter. We make plans for some spooky, Halloween fun coming up for the next few episodes. Holidays include days for skeptics, medical professionals, reminders for various self-care, lots of food days, pets, relationships, and more.

We give a spooky slant to the weird news of the week. Lost spiders, skeletons on the highway, misguided criminals, lost sheep, and more. A minor technology glitch finds Jill missing. Keith and Terry wrap up the news, but Jill returns just in time for presenting her weird words. Since Terry’s top ten list was munched last week, we let him present it today.

The anchor topic is on low vision, but Keith can’t find the list of helpful apps he wanted to discuss. Instead, we talk about how the iPhone camera can be tweaked to be a useful OCR device. We close with an email and our usual closing thoughts.
