City Deer and Country Deer. (6)
We are joined again by Jill, and our opening stories revolve around smelly kids and suicidal mice. Animals are all over the news topics. Deer who go hunting, revived sharks, stowaway owls, adventuresome turtles and good hearted deer that fall for the love of a misleading woman.
Terry brings on the top ten list “being good little kids for Santa”. Take the words of the week quiz and play along while you listen. Our concern over the 40 minute limit on the Zoom room is unfounded, so since we haven’t been booted out, we plow through to our anchor segment.
The feature topic is on manual skills. This is an important part of learning to live with blindness. It covers a wide range of hobbies and handicrafts that can boost your quality of life, demonstrating you can still do those favorite things you enjoy. It may require a little modification in organizing, and adapting a few methods or tools. Jill shares a few tips on knitting. Keith and Terry talk about music and small engine repair. The topic also covers woodworking, metal working, lether craft, and just about any hobby you can think of.
