Jill tells about her holiday cookout and the aftermath of beans. Terry had a problem with his big gas grill, and Keith has a silly granddaughter. There’s a small glitch as we turn to the holidays of the week, and there’s plenty of them. Since our recording session has been shifted to the evening, Terry feels the need to push the upper limit on our family-friendly status. Don’t worry. we manage to keep it safe.

News items feature lots of swimming animals. Pool parties with gators and bears, survival stories for elephants, gators, bears, and squirrels. Some church robbers get caught, and a plague of mice terrorizes Australia.

After some weird words from Jill. Terry brings more fun presidential trivia. The anchor topic is on Orientation and Mobility, so we return to our introduction to the GPS. With limited time, Terry reviews the functions of the keypad, which begins to demonstrate the various abilities of this handy tool for the blind. To wrap up, Keith shares an email about a blind guide dog, and we share a few closing thoughts.
