Jill has an update about a post on Facebook she saw. A blind guy had mixed up furniture polish with bug spray. His furniture may need re-polish, but at least it’s fumigated. Keith shares about one of our voices of the podcast getting his first contact lenses, and breaking them already. Terry tells how are other voice of the podcast now pays the rent for her parents. After a few moments of birthday updates, we get busy with our random topic. This time we feature a few questions of “would you rather” so you can get to know your hosts.

In the news this week, we feature a few world records. Terry tells us about the oldest woman in the world. Jill tells us about a problem in South Korea where people eat toothpicks. Keith world record story tells about a 92-year-old man who hiked across the Grand Canyon from rim to rim. We also have dinosaur news, homing pigeon updates and more.

Jill has some interesting words for us to guess this week. We actually know a couple, the most of them have a stumped. Terry brings us a top 10 list of pets you might want to avoid. The list of exotic pets are ones who have killed their owners.

Our anchor topic is on low vision. Keith revisits some basics about why a person might want to visit a low vision specialist. It can be pretty important, even though your regular doctors may not have a solution for you. Assistive devices can be identified, but in some cases, you’ll need to purchase those items on your own. Having a job, going to school or being connected with the VA can help in purchasing those devices.

We have an email. It might be pretty spicy, because the writer seems to have maced herself with homemade pepper spray. We close everything out with our final thoughts.
