while Terry and Jill wait for the podcast to start, they in the retro bots discover a disturbing obituary. Can it be? Have we lost one of our hosts? Fortunately for us we live to podcasts another day. But we spend time to wish the family of the deceased Keith Heltsley our condolences, since we are probably distant cousins. Continuing with our opening, Terry has an update about his Christmas, and tasty treats. Keith also has some updates about his “microwave” chair, and a few other tidbits. Jill wasn’t able to guide and travel due to her husband not feeling well. After Terry presents a few holiday birthdays, we focus on our random topic. As a year in review topic, Keith talks about tourists behaving badly from around the globe.

In the news this week, Terry leads off with some facts about that classic movie, Elf! Santa’s sleigh is once again making the rounds in a parade. Jill tells us about a young couple traveling with a baby with well loaded diapers. Well loaded with 17 rounds of ammunition that is! Keith shares a list of things that kids can give to their millennial parents. Jill doesn’t have too many other items to add, but Keith has extra story about some rare and unusual twins and how they came to be born. Terry has some tips to play the lottery and more things that are generally Christmas related.

Jill’s weird word list keeps us guessing as usual, but we managed to get a couple of them right. Terry has a top 10 list of unusual foods that you may want to avoid at street vendors.

Our anchor topic was scheduled to be on computers, but we pretty much covered that last week. Instead, Jill leads the way with the topic related to descriptive audio. Do you want to guess when the first descriptive audio track was for a movie?

Keith has an email about an unusual day in the life of a Florida deputy. We managed to close it all out with our final thoughts.
